We had our world premiere in Saarbrücken last week—and I'm still a little bit elsewhere because of it. It was a lot, intense, dark, friendly, and the film graced the program of a film festival for the first time. Others have seen it.
Short film | 16 minutes | 2026
A father visits his son: On a sleepless night in the big city, they orbit each other — two adults trying to rediscover one another beyond their old roles.

My book If Time Does Not End is once again available in a few great ✦ bookstores.
The work arose from my research on cryonics and deals with the question of what time means when its end is postponed. Photographs, texts, fragments, and conversations do not form a conclusion, but rather an invitation to think further—as an approach to a practice that lies between hope, science, and unease.
I am also always delighted when I see that ✦ libraries are adding the book to their collections. The nomination for the Paris Photo–Aperture PhotoBook Award 2024 has really helped to promote this. If you are in the area, feel free to browse through it there.

I would like to give away another small print—a signed print that feels good in your hands, on Hahnemühle paper. I just really like putting my photos on paper and knowing that they are there, where light really hits the surface.

I don't want any data from you, and you don't have to follow me anywhere. Just reply briefly to this email with a photo of the place where you would hang, stand, store, place, hide, leave lying around, stow away, let gather dust, frame, look at, or simply let the print take effect.
